Is Frontier becoming Verizon?

Frontier is now a Verizon company, bringing better value and more choices to millions more customers across the country. By integrating Frontier’s complementary pure-play fiber network with Verizon’s industry-leading Fios and mobility assets, the company now has an expanded reach of almost 30 million fiber passings across 31 states and Washington, D.C. With the greater availability of premium home internet and mobility services, customers have exclusive access to new services, savings and value they can’t get anywhere else. This expansion includes plan offerings for fiber optic home internet, fiber optic business internet, landline phones, and Fios TV.

Does Frontier becoming Verizon change my Frontier Fiber Internet plan or services? Is there any action I need to take to retain my existing services?

No, there will be no changes to your current internet plan or other services nor do you need to take any action. In the coming months, we’ll be in touch with anything you need to know. For any immediate questions, please contact Frontier support or visit our Verizon Community Forum.

What happens to my existing deals from Frontier?

I'm a Frontier home internet customer already. Will I automatically become a Verizon customer?

Yes, all Frontier Fiber Internet customers will be transitioned to Verizon Fios in the coming months. However, if you have a Frontier home internet service today, you will remain a Frontier customer and utilize their equipment, their app, and website to manage your plan, pay your bill and engage with support.

As Frontier integrates fully into Verizon, there will be changes to where you manage your account. Frontier and Verizon will be in contact directly to notify you of any changes in the coming months.

Current Frontier customers are eligible for deals, including discounts when buying a new Verizon mobile plan or bundling an existing one. New customers can sign up for a Verizon mobile plan while existing customers only need to connect their post-paid mobile & home internet accounts to get started.

  • Qualifying circumstances include natural disaster, funeral costs, fire loss, acute medical illness and more.
  • The EEF provides financial assistance for you and your immediate family.
