Open the Box and review the setup guide. It comes with a gateway and a power cord. The recommended setup for the Verizon Home Internet Gateway is as follows:

To set up a custom name and password, you need to connect a single device to the network (it works better with a PC or laptop because the screen size is bigger). You will use the link “mynetworksetting.com.” If a page pops up that says, “Your connection is not private,” just go through the advanced settings at the bottom left and click “proceed to the link provided.” From there, you will log in and follow the steps.
