Robert Lister
Chief Financial Officer
Robert Lister is the Chief Financial Officer for Russell Cellular, a position he’s held since being promoted in 2017. Robert is responsible for the company’s finance operations and leads Accounting, Finance and Employee Services teams, as well as managing all financial and legal relationships for the company. Robert joined Russell Cellular in July of 2001 as an executive assistant to Kym Russell and continued with the company upon completing his college degree in accounting. He quickly worked his way into leadership positions and was instrumental in creating and developing the accounting, payroll, and human resources departments, as well as the systems that support them.
Robert provides strategic oversight of the revenue, which has grown tremendously during his years of management. He also directs the employee programs and company’s resources to ensure the growth trajectory and future stability of the company. Robert is a driven individual dedicated to both personal and team success. His relentless study of leadership principles and practices makes him a passionate force on the executive team. Robert is committed to developing others through his mentorship and inspiring programs. Robert has served Russell Cellular loyally for over twenty years and is a trusted confidant and friend to the Russells.
Personal Background
A Springfield, Missouri, area native, Robert and his wife Kelly reside in Nixa, Missouri, with their two children whom both are currently attending Missouri State University. Robert earned his BS in Accounting from Missouri State University in 2001 and now sits on the Missouri State Accountancy Board. He is a longtime supporter of Boys and Girls Town, Convoy of Hope, and the American Heart Association, and is a former Chair of the local Heart Walk. Robert is an avid sports fan and enjoys golf, reading, and spending time and traveling with his family.
