Layton Alsup
Vice President of Executive Support
Layton Alsup is the Vice President of Executive Support for Russell Cellular. She leads the Executive Assistant, Hospitality and Travel and Events departments. Layton is also responsible for various vendor relationships and certain public relations. Additionally, Layton plays a key leadership role on major company initiatives, heads up various projects, and supports RC Cares projects and initiatives. She has been instrumental in developing her staff to more effectively support the Executives and other Home Office teams.
Layton has been involved in her parent’s business since she was a child helping with store setups and special projects. Directly after high school graduation, Layton purchased a small business and subsequently developed it into an award-winning day spa proving herself a successful entrepreneur in her own right. Layton takes her role as a member of the Russell family seriously and joined the executive team beginning her full-time career at Russell Cellular in 2019. Layton is devoted to sharing her entrepreneurial spirit and service industry experience to help ensure the ongoing success of the family business and its positive impact on team members and their communities.
Personal Background
Born and raised in the Springfield, Missouri area, Layton and her husband still call Springfield home. Layton continues to support the local Great Circle Campus where for 10 years she served on the committee for the annual Handbags of Hope fundraising event. An avid world traveler with a passion for experiencing other cultures, Layton is also a wine enthusiast and foodie. She enjoys hosting family and friends and cherishes her time as an aunt.
