5G Unlimited mobile plans
Your available monthly discount on a Verizon 5G mobile plan as a first responder is based on how many phones you have:
- 1 phone: $10/month discount per account
- 2-3 phones: $25/month discount per account
- 4+ phones: $20/month discount per account (reflecting the discounts already applied to accounts with four or more Unlimited plans)

Account-level discounts for standard plans

Verizon Fios Home Internet
This 100% fiber-optic network ensures you receive the fastest possible internet speeds. As a first responder, you might qualify for a Fios discount of up to $15/month if you live in a key metro area in a mid-Atlantic or New England state.
How to get your first responder discount
Applying your mobile and Fios home internet discounts takes less than two minutes. All you need to do is:
- Confirm that you’re eligible for the discount using Verizon’s partner ID.me verification tool.
- Add the discount to your account when you’re returned to the Verizon website.
If you already have a Verizon plan, you’ll automatically receive the discount on your monthly bill. If you don’t, switch to a qualifying plan to start saving money.
First responder discounts aren’t limited to existing Verizon customers only. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can get the discount when you open an account.
While your discount won’t appear in your shopping cart, you’ll receive an email to confirm that you qualify. These savings will be shown on your bill within 1-2 billing cycles, and will continue throughout your Verizon contract.
